NQT Induction, Training & Support Programmes

  • NQT Induction Programme with North Lincolnshire Council

Schools choosing to use North Lincolnshire Council to act as their Appropriate Body can do so via a Service Level Agreement (SLA) for which there is one standard charge.

The function of the Appropriate Body is to administer the statutory requirements of registration, monitoring and authorisation of NQTs during their Induction Phase.  The service ensures that all formal processing of reports and registration with the National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL ) is completed on behalf of schools and NQTs, all schools receive a handbook and set of useful resources and templates, have access to ongoing guidance and advice, are included in QA activity and have the opportunity to attend and Early Career Conference in September and a briefing session for Induction Mentors.  Additional support is provided when needed to help when difficulties arise.  Formal processing reports to the National College for Teaching & Leadership (NCTL).
